Painting allows me to explore how the environment makes me feel both visually and emotionally.
Our landscapes are infinitely intricate, beautiful, and diverse, with a capacity for rapid and fleeting changes whilst somehow remaining subtly intransient and ancient.
Working in my studio on the Isle of Wight I work to capture this moment or feeling using both traditional and abstract painting techniques.
